Hoodwinked: A twist on the tale

A world-class sculpture trail planned for summer 2018 will transform Nottingham into the playground of the mischievous Robin Hood – local legend and master of disguise.  From July to September, scores of quirky Hoodwinked sculptures will take pride of place in the city, each sponsored by a business and individually decorated by professional artists.  It promises to be the biggest event of the summer.

There are great commercial marketing opportunities for businesses to join this citywide celebration, with extensive brand exposure and opportunities for CSR participation across the duration of the trail.  The event will bring together businesses, professional artists, schools and the community and will boost the economic, social and cultural life of the city.  Ultimately, it will also raise awareness and funds for Nottinghamshire Hospice.

Hoodwinked is run in partnership with Wild in Art, a leading creative producer of spectacular free public art events through the creation of uniquely-painted sculptures.  For more information, or for an invitation to the business launch event on 10 October, email hoodwinked@nottinghamcity.gov.uk or call Caroline Elmhirst or Julie Walker on 0115 8764984/5.
