Digital marketing agency prepares for future growth with new office

March 2018 – Rapid growth has led Nottingham-based Impression to invest in a new office three times the size of its previous one, paving the way for the future expansion of its team.

The multi award-winning digital marketing agency took on its first employee in 2014 and has since grown to a team of more than 30, resulting in the need to move out of its office in Stoney Street.

The company is now based in an even more central location at Fothergill House, King Street, in an office which is 8,000 sq ft – three times bigger than its previous home.

Impression has signed up for an initial five year lease, in a deal brokered by commercial estate agent FHP, and will be sharing the space with another high-growth Nottingham business, Distinct Recruitment, for the first three years.

The new office has a reception area, a board room which overlooks Nottingham Council House, three smaller meeting rooms and a space dedicated to staff training.

Co-founder Tom Craig said: “While we loved our old office in Nottingham’s Creative Quarter and the community there, we simply outgrew it and needed something bigger. Fothergill House provides us with the perfect space to accommodate our growing team in response to increased demand for our services.

“We have worked with a local designer to create visuals for the reception area and four meeting rooms, to really put our own stamp on the place. The training room has already been getting a lot of use, with twice-weekly training sessions for the team and a number of external events already having taken place here.”

Impression also boasts a central London office, but its roots are here in the East Midlands.

We’re also enthusiastic about encouraging graduate retention in Nottingham and have just this week welcomed four new graduates to the company.”

Impression is among six employers to be shortlisted for the AGCAS Award for Careers Service Engagement 2018, having been nominated by the University of Nottingham for its “consistent support to the Careers and Employability Service through supporting paid internships and its Digital Marketing Academy, which provides entry-level industry qualifications”.
