Nottingham College is by far the largest provider of further education in Nottingham. Every year we help 34,000 local people gain skills and qualifications that change their lives. By helping people into further or higher education, into their first job, or further up the career ladder, we help Nottingham and Nottinghamshire prosper. We work with businesses to make sure that they have access to a pipeline of talented and motivated individuals that are skilled to do the jobs they need to fill now, and in the future.
We operate across 10 campuses serving communities across Nottingham, specialising in particular curriculum areas. We offer a unique experience to young people thanks to our fantastic resources and facilities. Our students enjoy state-of-the-art construction workshops, professional training kitchens, commercial hair and beauty salons in which to train, music recording and TV studios, a dedicated sixth form centre, numerous sports academies, overseas educational trips and work experience opportunities with high profile employers.
We offer more than 300 courses and apprenticeships and over 2500 employers help us to shape and design our curriculum to make sure it is relevant and suitable for our local and regional economic development. Our courses include everything from recreational courses delivered across a number of community venues to A Levels, vocational qualifications such as BTECs, apprenticeships, work-based training to full degree programmes, validated by a number of prominent universities. We work directly with employers to help them understand their training and skills needs and offer dedicated and bespoke training solutions to meet those needs.
