Nottingham Forest have given fans a glimpse of the club’s “vision of the future” of the City Ground.
The Reds have announced ambitious multi-million pound plans to redevelop their stadium, increasing its capacity to 38,000.
The club hope to begin work on it in the summer of 2020.
“Now it’s time for the new City Ground,” say Forest, in a video released this morning, 28 February 2019.
The Reds also say it will be “a home to be proud of, the heartbeat of Nottingham, a place to cheer, sing, smile – a world-class stadium, 38,000 fans together as one.”
“We are now delighted to be able to present you our vision for the new City Ground,” said Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis.
“The City Ground has iconic history and memories for our supporters and these legacies were fundamental in our decision us to remain on the banks of the River Trent and not relocating to an alternative site. This is our home and we will remain here forever.”
