Dinner with dinosaurs at our March lunch!

A big thank you to members and guests who attended last week’s Nottingham Means Business (NMB) lunch and our sponsors The University of Nottingham.

The lunch proved a first for NMB as we also welcomed a very special guest in the shape of Hunter the dinosaur who surprised the packed house at Trent Bridge. Hunter’s presence was for good reason, as the Dinosaurs of China roar into Nottingham in July with a world exclusive exhibition at Wollaton Hall and Lakeside Arts.

We heard from Nicola Moules (The University of Nottingham) about transferring knowledge to transform businesses and Rachael Evans (Nottingham City Museums and Galleries) about the Dinosaurs of China.

Next, Lorraine Baggs (Invest in Nottingham) fresh off the plane from MIPIM gave an update on the world of inward investment and was followed by Jack Buckner (British Triathlon).

The British Triathlon Mixed Relay Cup Nottingham takes places on Saturday 2 September 2017 around Victoria Embankment and Trent Bridge. An expected crowd of 20,000 spectators and a live BBC One television audience will follow the action as up to 20 elite race teams, including Olympians, battle to become the event’s inaugural champions.
