“By being a member, we gain access to good local events that are very professionally run with some great speakers. These events are always good for networking and catching up with friends in the local business community, as well as key figures in the public sector. The professional nature of the events means that we are proud to be connected to these as sponsors”. Neil Harrison, Associate Director, Arup
“Attending the networking events is a must for us. The topics presented at the lunch are always relevant to the local business community and promote networking in a relaxed and positive environment. We have many clients and prospective clients who are members and more recently, have gained a number of new suppliers directly through the networking events. We will be sponsoring our second lunch this year and will be looking to make this part of our annual plan going forward.” Stephen Mason, Managing Director, Mason Infotech
The outbreak of Coronavirus has had an impact on our event schedule for the year and regrettably we have had to postpone our normal programme of Member Lunches. As soon as it is safe for us all to meet again and adhering to social distancing rules, we will be back with a full event programme for our members. In the meantime, we are holding online events via Zoom.

Nottingham’s Waterside Living – 20 July 2021
We are delighted to invite you to our next virtual event which will focus on Nottingham’s waterside living. The virtual event will be held on Tuesday 20th July at 1pm.
Our panellists will highlight the current waterfront and residential developments in the city and consider why is it necessary to continue to develop the residential offer and what is unique about these particular developments. They will also look at the many benefits of waterside living to our wellbeing and the effects the demand for new hybrid working arrangements has on residential homes. They will also consider the need for any future infrastructure that might be required such as bridge over the river, schools, parks or any other provision for example.
Our current, confirmed panel will be made up of:
- Paul Seddon – Director of Planning and Regeneration, Nottingham City Council
- Sam Veal – Chief Executive, Blueprint
- David Hargreaves – Joint Founder, FHP Property Consultants
We hope to add additional panellists too.
The event will be compered by our Chairman, Paul Southby and starts promptly at 1pm, concluding by 2pm.
Please get in touch with Natalie Williams should you want to attend – firstname.lastname@example.org
