Events

We hold regular networking events giving our members the opportunity to promote their organisations and meet like-minded individuals.

You’ll see a selection of our forthcoming events below, which as a networking member you’ll receive an invitation to attend.

If you’re not currently a member, please complete the form here and we’ll be in touch.

“By being a member, we gain access to good local events that are very professionally run with some great speakers. These events are always good for networking and catching up with friends in the local business community, as well as key figures in the public sector. The professional nature of the events means that we are proud to be connected to these as sponsors”.  Neil Harrison, Associate Director, Arup

“Attending the networking events is a must for us. The topics presented at the lunch are always relevant to the local business community and promote networking in a relaxed and positive environment. We have many clients and prospective clients who are members and more recently, have gained a number of new suppliers directly through the networking events. We will be sponsoring our second lunch this year and will be looking to make this part of our annual plan going forward.”  Stephen Mason, Managing Director, Mason Infotech

The outbreak of Coronavirus has had an impact on our event schedule for the year and regrettably we have had to postpone our Member Lunches that were scheduled for the 22nd May, 10th July and 11th September.  As soon as it is safe for us all to meet again and adhering to social distancing rules, we will be back with a full event programme for our members.  In the meantime, we are holding online events.

Nottingham Partners Online Event – 27 November 2020

The City Council have launched the Broadmarsh Big Conversation to help inform the future development and regeneration opportunities of this prime city centre site. They are keen to receive further ideas and proposals and ensure maximum engagement with both the private and public sector.

This is a critical time for our city and we want to be able to support the development, by bringing businesses around the table and sharing the consultation.  We may not have all of the answers but we can help shape the concepts and bring everyone together.

To that end, we are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a roundtable panel discussion on Friday 27 November at 1pm.  The panel will focus on ‘Place Shaping’ with the Broadmarsh being the catalyst for reimagining that part of the city and what function it serves. The panel will discuss the strategy and vision for the site.

The panel will be made up of:

  • Mel Barrett, CEO, Nottingham City Council
  • Cllr Sam Webster, Portfolio Holder for Finance, Growth and the City Centre, Nottingham City Council
  • Victoria Green, CEO, Spenbeck
  • John Morgan, Director, Leonard Design Architects
  • Hosted by Paul Southby, Chairman of Marketing Nottingham, Partner of Geldards LLP#

The meeting will take place over Zoom so please email Natalie Williams (natalie.williams@nottinghampartners.co.uk) for the registration link.

We very much hope that you will be able to join us for what will undoubtedly be a very interesting discussion.
