The Ingenuity Programme is a national innovation programme that directly addresses the UK’s major social, health and environmental challenges through the creation of impactful new start-ups.
- It focuses on 3 key challenge themes: building stronger communities, improving health or tackling climate change.
- It provides start-up skills training, mentoring, networking, experiential learning and entrepreneurial development opportunities, plus routes to funding for early-stage impact driven businesses.
- The programme is inclusive, diverse and accessible for all and supports students, alumni, staff and community members across the UK to turn ideas for change into exciting new ventures.
- The most impactful ideas are awarded top prizes and receive a sharing of £75k in prize funding.
The success to promote both locally and nationally is aided significantly by supporters, friends of Ingenuity and community organisations with aligned values to help us spread the word to potentially interested students, alumni or community members nationwide, particularly those from underserved and under-represented groups.
