Party at Potter Clarkson

Nottingham Means Business Members, Potter Clarkson LLP celebrated their 125th anniversary by holding a party at their offices at The Belgrave Centre, Talbot Street.

The partners welcomed over 100 local dignitaries, clients, professional contacts and friends to a champagne reception at their state of the art offices in The Belgrave Centre, Talbot Street at which a jazz band played. Amongst the dignitaries were the Lord-Lieutenant, the Sheriff of Nottingham, the Leader of Nottinghamshire County Council and Emma McClarkin MEP.

The Lord-Lieutenant, Sir John Peace, made  a brief key note address in which he stated how important Potter Clarkson, as a firm of top tier and award winning Patent and Trademark attorneys, was to Nottingham and the region.

In his address to the guests, Colin Baker, Managing Partner, looked to the future and the firm’s next 125 years.  “What is certain is that for however long Potter Clarkson keeps giving commercial, professional advice, be it for the next 125 years or longer, the service provided will always be to the highest, professional standard.  Our excellent reputation is based on that.  We are delighted to share this special occasion with so many friends.”

As it continues to grow and bring millions of pounds into the local economy from abroad, the firm is excited about what the next 125 years may bring.
