Dr Glenn Crocker MBE, CEO of BioCity, provided an insight into our Life Sciences sector and explained how Nottingham compares to other cities across the country. Peter Homa, Chief Executive of Nottingham University Hospitals and Barbara Cathcart, Chief Executive at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust gave a very interesting insight into the importance of their work.
We were also pleased to announce formally, NMB’s win at the Midlands Business Awards ceremony last month in the category of Midlands Business Club of the Year. NMB member Chinook Sciences also celebrated its accolade of Midlands Innovation of the Year at the lunch, alongside new member Nottingham Woodthorpe Hospital, which scooped Midlands Service Provider of the year in the £1 million-plus category.
