On 30 June 2015 Nottingham Means Business (NMB) was proud to support the inaugural Young Professionals event at Antenna in Nottingham.
Young Professionals is the brainchild of Dan Miller, a Nottingham sixth form student who has a mission to better connect schools with businesses.
With education heavily focused on exam success, Dan decided to start Young Professionals to educate and inspire Nottingham’s younger generation and to better enable them to make the right career choices early on.
Under our INSPIRE banner NMB was keen to support, along with four of our member companies, PwC, Potter Clarkson, Deborah Labbate and 3aaa.
The event was well attended with over 50 students and employers representing a diverse range of sectors. Students were encouraged to network and connect directly with business owners. It was an inspiring event and we wish Dan and Young Professionals every success for the future.
