Applications are open for the Creative Class of 2016 #CC2016

Creative Businesses across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire are being invited to submit their application to be one of ten outstanding companies in this year’s Creative Class of 2016.

The Creative Class 2016 is co-supported by Nottingham’s Creative Quarter, Nottingham City Council and Nottingham Means Business (NMB) and is being sponsored by PwC. The Creative Class 2016 – or #CC2016 on Twitter – will be announced at the Nottingham Contemporary on 7 July.

Launched in 2011, this will be the fifth anniversary Creative Class event. The initiative began with nine creative companies, which were heralded as leading the way in terms of dynamism and diversity. Many Creative Class companies have gone on to achieve significant success, create hundreds of jobs and gain huge profile for the city and county.

Applications

Download the Application Form (please note it will download as a Word document to your desktop or downloads folder)

Any business based in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire working in the Growth Hub sectors (Creative & Digital Industries, Life Sciences, Clean Tech and Advanced Manufacturing) can put themselves forward by filling in the application form and telling us what makes your business a good ‘fit’ for The Creative Class.

The judging panel (made up of local business representatives) will review all applications against specific criteria. Businesses will need to demonstrate that they are:

  • High performing
  • Innovative – using new technologies, systems or processes
  • Ambitious for high growth
  • Ambassadors for the city and county – advocates for and passionate about Nottingham and Nottinghamshire
