After a fantastic meal we heard from speakers, Mark Goldby DL, co-founder and owner of SMS Electronics and Julian Carr, commercial director at East Midlands Airport.
Through his work as chair of the Nottinghamshire Manufacturing Network, Mark reassured us that manufacturing is very much alive and kicking across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Julian explained how businesses could work with the airport to influence and develop route growth for the East Midlands.

Julian has asked us to follow up on his presentation by asking you to share the top three destinations your company travels to, along with the number of trips you would expect to make per year to each destination. This will help to inform how East Midlands Airport develops its network to business cities moving forward.
