Impression celebrates fifth anniversary with five award nominations

March 2017 – Digital marketing agency Impression is celebrating its fifth year in business with five international and national award nominations, the winners of which will be revealed next month.

The full-service agency, which offers search engine optimisation (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC), digital PR, design and website development, has been shortlisted in the European Search Awards 2017 and the RAR (Recommended Agency Register) Awards.

It is in the running for the Best Small Integrated Search Agency, Best Small PPC Agency and Best Small SEO Agency categories at the European 2017 Search Awards, with PPC manager Liam Wade also a finalist for Young Search Professional.

Liam said: “I’m ecstatic to be shortlisted for this award, it’s testament to the great working environment here where innovation is actively encouraged and everyone is considered equal. Combine this with fantastic team collaboration and you get a recipe for success; this nomination is representative of all of our hard work and it’s great that the whole team have been nominated for an award too.”

The company is a finalist in the Strategic Thinking category at the RAR Awards. Impression was given RAR accreditation in February. Founded by The Drum, the independent reviews platform helps brands to choose agencies to work with, based on ratings.

Each year, The Drum downloads the ratings from its database to identify which agencies are the highest-rated by clients, and recognises them through the RAR awards.

Aaron Dicks, co-founder of Impression, said: “Every single member of the Impression team has contributed to these award nominations. There is a real sense of pride in the office and everyone is keeping their fingers crossed for the end of April! To be recommended across all of the services that we provide, achieving an overall score of 9.4 on RAR, is testimony to the approach we take with our clients – we believe in long-term results and stay away from ‘quick wins’ that don’t last. Thank you to all of our clients who took the time to give us their honest feedback.”

Impression was founded by Aaron Dicks and Tom Craig in 2012. They took the business full-time in 2014 and employed their first member of staff later that year. The firm, which has  offices in Nottingham and London, now has more than 20 professionals working across its service offerings.

With a number of client wins over the past quarter, the company is set to exceed ambitious growth targets again this year. It also plans to double in size, and is currently looking to recruit six new members to the Impression team, in the following roles: SEO executive, SEO account manager, PPC analyst, PPC executive, PPC account manager and digital marketing executive.

The winners of the RAR (Recommended Agency Register) Awards will be announced at the Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square, London, on April 26. The European 2017 Search Awards will take place a day later in Krakow, Poland.
