The Nottingham digital industry has proven once again that it is not only comparable but highly competitive on a national/international scale, with two Notts agencies – Impression and Hallam Internet – being shortlisted in the prestigious Google awards.

The awards, which recognise excellence in digital advertising, are judged by Google themselves and require the agencies to show:

  • Excellence in best practice
  • Innovation and creativity
  • Exceptional results / ROI for their clients

This latest recognition comes after numerous award wins for Nottingham digital agencies, including Impression winning SEO and PR awards at the European Search Awards back in June, and being named Best Large SEO Agency at the UK Search Awards in late 2018. Hallam won the silver award for use of data at the Digital Experience Awards in July.

Speaking of the latest award nomination, Aaron Dicks, Managing Director and Founder at Impression, said:

“It’s fantastic for Impression to be shortlisted for another award and yet further recognition of the exceptional results we achieve. We’re absolutely committed to excellence and we invest heavily in internal and external training for our team, as well as the creation of our own tools and technologies alongside industry leading platforms that facilitate even better returns for our clients.

“We’re long term believers in the potential of Nottingham as a digital hub and we’ve seen that come to fruition over the past 5 years in particular, with agencies around Notts attracting some fantastic new clients and talent to the area.”

Impression’s Head of Marketing, Laura Hampton, added:

“Awards aren’t the reason we do what we do, but they do play an important role in showcasing the excellence of marketing being delivered by Nottingham agencies. To have not one but two Notts businesses shortlisted in the prestigious Google awards is a massive accolade for the city, and something we’re excited to celebrate.”
