Huge congratulations to the Chairman of Nottingham Partners, Paul Southby, who has recently been installed as the 458th High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire for the next 12 months. The ceremony was held at the Broadway Arts Cinema in Nottingham on the 1st April 2022.
Paul commented “My focus will be on supporting local community crime prevention projects and on supporting the work of our county police force and court services. In addition, and given that my two predecessors’ years as High Sheriff were significantly curtailed by the pandemic, I hope to be out and about more than they have been able to, and to use the role to thank the essential workers who have worked so hard for us all over the last couple of years. I also plan to support the county’s arts and cultural institutions in their recovery from the pandemic”.
Paul has decided to work with Nottingham Partners chosen charity of the year, Switch Up which exists to empower Nottingham’s young people, children and young adults to break the cycle of offending and reoffending.
We’re proud to have Paul as our Chairman and look forward to supporting him over the next 12 months.
