Farewell and thank you!

I just wanted to let everyone know that after 13 very happy years, I’ve decided to leave Nottingham Partners and would like to thank you all for your support along the way.

Having been with the Invest in Nottingham Club, Nottingham Means Business and latterly Nottingham Partners since its inception in 2010, I’ve decided that the time has come to call it a day.  I’m not moving on to anywhere else and plan to enjoy being a lady of leisure and spending more time with family and friends.

When the fabulous Jim Taylor, the founder of the Club, knocked on my door 13 years ago, I couldn’t have imagined we could have achieved what we have. We’ve held just over 120 events and welcomed more than 9000 guests through the doors.

Personally, I found losing Jim very hard but I was determined to see through what he had started. The Club has been through a few changes over the years but we always need to remember the fundamentals of why it was set up – to make Nottingham the best place it can be.

Paul Southby and Natalie Williams

I’ve made some great friendships along the way and I’ll be truly sad to leave, however, I do feel that the time is right to step away. I’d like to personally thank our Chairman, Paul Southby for his unending support and friendship; it has been fabulous to work together for the last 12 years.  Nottingham Partners will be in safe hands going forward and a programme of future events will be announced soon, however, if you need anything in the meantime, please contact my colleagues in the Invest in Nottingham team.

Thank you again for all of your support over the years. I wish all members of Nottingham Partners the very best for the future.

Natalie

Message from the Chairman, Paul Southby

I am sure that all members of Nottingham Partners will join me in wishing Natalie well as she steps down from her role, and will wish her a good rest and plenty of quality time with her family. I would also like to thank Natalie for all her hard work over the last 13 years which has been pivotal in developing the organisation.

Natalie has worked for Nottingham Partners (under this and its previous names) since day one, and has been an integral part of our success. I shall miss her calm demeanour, her organisational and relationship management skills and her friendly smile, as I am sure will all of you.

Sad though we are to see Natalie go, “the show must go on” as they say, and it will. So please watch out for an announcement setting out details of our future programme, including our summer drinks social, autumn events and our annual dinner. I cannot bring myself to mention a Christmas event in June, but there will be one!

Good luck Natalie, and – on behalf of all our members – thank you for everything.
